Ibanez TB100R
A well built amp, with a lot of connectors to make trouble shoot easy. The only thing that bug me was when I hook it to a shared adapter plug its gives a high hum,but on its own separate and not shared it worked alright. In case you thinking its a isolated problem.I am servicing 3 unit and all did the same. But sound wise its a good straight up amp for any player to begin with.
I have this amp TB100r but my toroidal transformer has burnt out.do you know the right one to replace it with.As I can't find a number on my burnt one.thanks
This a long time ago post.I didn't wrote down the secondary.I'm guessing twin center tap output.Green/Black/Green could be 40+VAC-0-40+VAC and Blue/Black/Blue could be 24VAC-0-24VAC.Check the regulator IC number(datasheet) on the preamp and big Cap max voltage on power amp board..hope the clues help. Thanks
i've never had issues with the Ibanez TB models, just that some people have lesser respect for them due to the solidstate nature.
