Its been a long while since I seen, repaired and played one of these. The odd thing about this amp is it needs a foot-switch for Chanel switching, without it it goes to Chanel 2 by default. What idiot thought of this!!? JB Reckless?Clive Button?I wonder?
The built quality is high and tidy,I salute your design Mr.JB Reckless or Clive Button.Thumbs up!!

This sure is a sturdy and well-built 'Penguin' :) Used to own a Trace Elliot Commando 15 bass amp, never had any problems. The British are quite good at building amps, IMHO.
The one you own must be the mkII improve version, the earlier version spoils a lot.due to the design nature.I remembered telling my client that its a high maintainance amp equal to owning a Ferrari with yearly expensive repairs.
Oh, I did not know about the troublesome MKI version. Guess I was lucky :)
