I am not a Sound Engineer,but I believe my knowledge can be applied to troubleshoot this apparatus,My main concern and grouse about this product is the Battery Connector.Why on earth did they put a cheap one in it baffles me.I guess they would earn more profit for overlooking it?My guess is as good as yours.

It's like putting 'tayar celup' on a brand new BMW. That kind of battery connector costs RM1.00 each over here.
