13years ago when I started to do Guitar Tech.I took my work lightly. At the time people would trust you just because you work in a Music Shop.I did a lot electronic repairs(guitars was the most sent in product).Being new and without a firm direction, standard and pride,I can here confess that I mess up a lot of wiring job(Visually not Functionality). In most cases all I know was I like to do it and I get money doing it,never mind how shoddy it was.I would say the reason for it was I had to juggle Repairs,Teaching and Sales work in 8 hours everyday. That's it.
I had a look at what I did in 2007 at a returning client guitar. When I look at it.I laughed and later began to think about it,"Do I want people to do something like this to my stuff?"
Its been close to 2 years now I'm standing on my feet, from the small room in my flat to my very own "worlds smallest workshop".I'm proud of it.I thanks all my clients for it.You put me where I am today
Ever since 2010 I look at thing differently.I would perform my duty in accordance to my standards and time frame. The reason that you have to make an appointment to see me.I may not able to setup 200 guitars a week but its the quality that gets people coming back to you..As long as its adhere to my standards and my time.haha.
Which prompt me to blog after leaving it idle since 2008.With the need to publish my work online,I put it upon me to be responsible and provoke others to be too.Be it companies or other Tech,The consumer would benefit from this.I know I would improve when someone is watching what I do.
I am open towards fact and impartial..I am apathy about what people think about me.haha.
As for my friend's Godin HB,its a good guitar plus a good buy too.
