Piezo pickups installation is a straight forward procedure which requires basic household tools with some added bravery.This is my first for a ukulele work so I never thought it would differ much from an acoustic chore.So at a glance I promised the owner that it would be normal looking like a Takamine using the Output cum Strap button that came with the pickup.
As soon as work began I realize the finger and arm poking was impossible.The one way I could think of is by working externally,from the side and putting a rectangle panel with Switchcraft #11.Seeing the side wood thickness 4 wood plugs was used for the screws.Hopefully this would ensure and secure the panel from obvious abuse.I had to abandoned the bigger wood plugs shown due to the Kerfing inside.The wood plugs are from Wolfcraft and they offer sensible variant in sizes for my past simple guitar mod works.
Was my client happy?Well no quiet at first but as soon as its plugged in he was alright about it.Haha.
