Soldering exposed
If it was a DIY job,I praise the effort done.But when you start charging people for this kind of shit work,I hope you don't quit your day job.Don't give us dedicated Guitar TECH bad rep.

The 'tech' probably thought that extra solder would make for a better joint. He/she also did not want to cut off any of the extra wire because it could be used to wire in extra components in the future :P
