Do look close at your Hercules GS432B
The legend of Hercules - according to Wikipedia.
Hercules is the Roman name for the Greek divine hero Heracles, who was the son of Zeus (Roman equivalent Jupiter) and the mortal Alcmene. In classical mythology, Hercules is famous for his strength and for his numerous far-ranging adventures.
The Romans adapted the Greek hero's iconography and myths for their literature and art under the name Hercules. In later Western art and literature and in popular culture, Hercules is more commonly used than Heracles as the name of the hero. Hercules was a multifaceted figure with contradictory characteristics, which enabled later artists and writers to pick and choose how to represent him.[1] This article provides an introduction to representations of Hercules in the later tradition.
The Hercules GS432 - according to my experience
A returning student from over sea presented one to me in 2011,I have always heard and read about about this brand since like forever. The name has some sort of attraction and confidence to begin with.So in 2012 I began to include its importance for my workshop use.Its quiet a convenience when you have to switch work between guitars with having to go to its hardcase. On 2ndMarch15 as I was about to hang a client's guitar on one of the hangars,It broke and almost made two of my other clients that was on it fall to the floor.Lucky for me the only thing that prevented that was the T like rest thingy.
Upon close eyes and hands inspection revealed the exterior part of the "Comfort Grip" felt soft and sticky almost like an early stage of melt rubber. It similar to the Ibanez Top Preamp Rubber holding plate in an earlier Tech Tips post.I have a visit to Hercules site to report this but there was no legit email contact to be found. They would be much happier if you sort the assistance from your local dealer.I wrote to them with some enclosed pictures and that was it.I have good faith that they would reply soon.
Conclusion
This is not an expensive stand. The design is good and practical,as for quality wise failure is expected but this is sooner than I thought. But you could always buy another, but this is not just about the stand alone. It concerns the instruments that's on it too.Should any unwanted thing happen to them.Guess whose going to foot the bill? The last person that hung the guitar on it of course!
Imagine it is your guitars in the picture below and it happen during your absence.
Sorry Sir,its not not my fault. It was him,Hercules?
