Bare Knuckle Pickups Aftermath

Magnet,Wire and Plastic.

It was 13 years ago when I jump into the Musical Retail Industry.Having played the electric guitar for 6 years before.I really didn't know much about Electric Guitar Technology.,I didn't even know what's that 3 way toggle selector on my guitar was for.All I know was turn up the Vol and Tone to full, but what about that Toggle Switch?which way is full?up or down?

Watching Malmsteen video made ask myself "I see the switch moving but where are they goin?" Never mind it.... as long as it works and didn't get in the way at my Hammet moment..As for the pickup mine was already fitted with Dimarzio and Fury pickup. At the time my thoughts were Pickups that's given a name is a good pickup. As for the unnamed its like a person that you wish you never knew... Haha..That's how dumb I was.

13 years later,I concluded that Pickup(s) replacement is the the most popular upgrades. Its a cheaper and effective method to Improve or Mess up a guitar Tone. Its what players would do even if its just a joking gesture from a Tech.Haha.

To those who got it right, that corner in the room will be the happiest place on earth, you're ears shall be happy for many years down the road.
To those that didn't.Its buying then selling then buying again then selling it again then researching, buying, selling, active, passive, booster, preamp etc....

It was in 2006 or 2007 when I first heard about Bare Knuckle Pickups from Khalid. At the time he was my client turned student, later became friend and end up being a Fly in the shop.(a well behave Fly of course.Hehe)

I was thinking like mmm... there's already Fender,Gibson,Seymour Duncan,Dimarzio,EMG etc..Each of them has 20 to 30 pickups variety with specific names.Surely it doesn't hurt to add one more to the group.Further more its just 4 or 5 more model names to remember.I think this upgraded Pentium III brain could take it.

Well that was then. Now they have more.As for this BKP,since its "Wound,Made and Played The Traditionally Way-By Hand".I would thought its going to have that uneven bulge top and below which will make me do a 10min cussing ritual prior installing. But no.Its a clean look, evenly dimensioned and high quality,Though it doesn't come with Window 7 and Adobe. The inclusion of String,Pick and a Cup-Coaster are a welcome surprise.
Thumbs up BKP.You ease our work.Thank you and Goodbye.

Looks like a solid pickup, built like a tank and as smooth as a Humvee. Wonder how it sounds clean / distorted.

@bluesguy62 it sounds godly. Not your average pickup. Aimed at high-gain syncopating guitarists that require fast bass tracking and a musical attack response. YouTube it... they are really something you know?
