Ibanez BL800

Something from 1980/81. This one was produced for quiet a short time that I never thought it existed and I believe this finish is the rarest of them all. Or it could just be exclusively for Japan domestic market. Manufacturers sometime does that for unknown reason.
This came in for a check up after it was left to idle for two years. Initial condition are high string height and dodgy electronics. The upper P half pickup had a broken coil. I managed to find the broken spot. It would've been a lost of the original stock Ibanez tone.
However the Ibanez P4 pickup do resemble a Dimarzio design. I took out the bloody pickup pads, replaced them with springs. The rest was setup, CTS 250k pots, poly cap and Switchcraft connector.

Thank you
